This page explains what is stored on your device, both on this website and in the app. Under Dutch law (Telecommunicatiewet art. 11.7a) we need your consent to store or read information on your device, unless it is strictly necessary for a service you asked for.

This website

Our public pages (such as the homepage) use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics to count visits and see which buttons are clicked (for example the App Store button). It sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device, collects no name, email or advertising identifiers, and does not track you across other sites. Data is hosted in the EU. These legal pages themselves use no analytics at all; the only thing we store here is a small setting that remembers your language choice (NL or EN), which is strictly functional.

In the app

Strictly necessary storage (no consent needed)

The app stores some information on your device so it can work: your settings and language, your subscription status and free-tier and fair-use counters, and security data used to prevent abuse (device attestation). This is necessary to deliver the service you asked for.

Analytics (you can turn it off)

To understand how the app is used, the app stores a small amount of data on your device for privacy-friendly product analytics (for example a random per-install identifier and a queue of pending events). This analytics is pseudonymised and not linked to your identity: the per-install identifier resets if you reinstall the app, and there is no name, email or photo, no advertising identifiers, no tracking across other apps or websites, no IP address collected for analytics, and no session or screen recording. Data is hosted in the EU.

Your choice. You can turn analytics off at any time in the app under Settings. When it is off, no analytics data is stored or sent. Development builds send nothing.

Deze pagina legt uit wat er op je toestel wordt opgeslagen, zowel op deze website als in de app. Onder Nederlandse wetgeving (Telecommunicatiewet art. 11.7a) hebben we je toestemming nodig om informatie op je toestel op te slaan of te lezen, tenzij dat strikt noodzakelijk is voor een dienst waar je om hebt gevraagd.

Deze website

Onze openbare pagina's (zoals de homepage) gebruiken privacyvriendelijke, cookieloze analyse om bezoeken te tellen en te zien welke knoppen worden aangeklikt (bijvoorbeeld de App Store-knop). Hierbij worden geen cookies geplaatst en wordt niets op je toestel opgeslagen, geen naam, e-mail of advertentie-identificatoren verzameld, en je wordt niet over andere sites gevolgd. De gegevens worden in de EU gehost. Deze juridische pagina's zelf gebruiken helemaal geen analyse; het enige wat we hier opslaan, is een kleine instelling die je taalkeuze onthoudt (NL of EN), en dat is strikt functioneel.

In de app

Strikt noodzakelijke opslag (geen toestemming nodig)

De app slaat bepaalde informatie op je toestel op om te kunnen werken: je instellingen en taal, je abonnementsstatus en gratis-tier- en redelijk-gebruik-tellers, en beveiligingsgegevens tegen misbruik (toestelattestatie). Dit is nodig om de dienst te leveren waar je om hebt gevraagd.

Analyse (je kunt het uitzetten)

Om te begrijpen hoe de app wordt gebruikt, slaat de app een kleine hoeveelheid gegevens op je toestel op voor privacyvriendelijke productanalyse (bijvoorbeeld een willekeurige identificatie per installatie en een wachtrij met openstaande gebeurtenissen). Deze analyse is gepseudonimiseerd en niet aan je identiteit gekoppeld: de identificatie per installatie reset als je de app opnieuw installeert, en er is geen naam, e-mail of foto, geen advertentie-identificatoren, geen volgen over andere apps of websites, geen IP-adres verzameld voor analyse, en geen sessie- of schermopname. Gegevens worden in de EU gehost.

Jouw keuze. Je kunt analyse altijd uitzetten in de app onder Instellingen. Staat het uit, dan worden er geen analysegegevens opgeslagen of verstuurd. Ontwikkelversies sturen niets.
